Iran’s animated short film ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ has been awarded at Queen Palm International Film Festival in the US.
‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ by Mahdieh-Sadat Ahmadi-Soleimani was named among the silver winners in the Best Short – Animation at the 3rd quarter of the 2020 season of the festival.
‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ is about “a girl who is involved in the problems of her time and at the end she surrenders to the birds of her painting.”
Queen Palm International Film Festival is “a quarterly film, music, and screenwriting competition with a live Annual Screening and Awards Show Event in Palm Springs, California”, the event’s website reads.
The festival aims to “discover diverse new voices and to promote artists' work through numerous platforms.”
